Key Accountabilities:


  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the airline's warehouse and materials supply chain to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance management to achieve departmental goals.
  • Oversee procurement, storage, and distribution of materials, parts, and supplies to support aircraft maintenance, repair, and operation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains within the supply chain, and implement best practices to enhance operational performance.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, monitor performance, and cultivate strategic partnerships to secure favorable pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs to measure and report on supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices in all aspects of warehouse and materials management, including hazardous materials handling, storage, and transportation.
  • Act as a liaison with other departments and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration across the supply chain, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.


Professional Experience:


  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a senior management role, preferably within aviation or airline industry.
  • Proven track record of optimizing supply chain processes and improving operational efficiency while maintaining high quality and service standards.


Academic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, operations management, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or similar credentials are advantageous.
